The beauty of touch

I know I’m lucky that I have some one to touch and be touched by. Right now there are too many people unable to see and touch their loved ones. Of an evening we often sit at either end of the same sofa and I rest my feet on his lap. I didn’t always like my feet held and played with, but over the years I’ve become a bit less ticklish. I love when he massages my bare feet. But really this is just part of being touched by another human being. Something we forget until there is no one around to do so.

He is holding my feet in both hands, one with fingers between my toes, and the other hand on top.

  1. Oh you are so right, Julie. I am happy to be locked down with my husband, and my daughter is locked down with hers, but my son is all alone and that worries me at times. I can’t wait to hug him again!

    Nice, intimate image.

  2. I held my breath when I saw this, I could not bear my feet to be touched like that. Luckily he isn’t brave enough and values his teeth too much to risk me reflexively kicking out!
