Into the light

I long for the bright and sunny days when you can emerge from the gloom, into the light. But not just the light, the heat of the day. We’ve had some beautifully sunny days here this week, however they have been accompanied by freezing temperatures. What I long for is a sun high in the sky, one that warms rather then blinds you, because the winter sun is so low in the sky. Roll on summer!
